By creating a ProfiLynq account or purchasing a ProfiLynq product, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully — they are written in plain language rather than legalese.
1. Acceptance of terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ProfiLynq (profilynq.in) and any associated products and services. By accessing or using ProfiLynq, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2. What ProfiLynq provides
ProfiLynq is an emergency medical identification service. We provide:
- A platform to create and maintain a digital emergency medical profile
- A QR code that links to that profile, accessible without any app or login
- Physical tags (helmet stickers, wallet cards, wristbands) that carry the QR code
- Automated WhatsApp alerts to emergency contacts when a QR is scanned
ProfiLynq is a supplementary safety tool — not a substitute for professional medical care, emergency services, or medical bracelets prescribed by a doctor. We do not dispatch emergency services. We do not provide medical advice. We do not guarantee any specific outcome in an emergency.
3. Your account
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide a valid phone number — it is used to verify your identity and for emergency alerts.
- You must not create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.
- One account per person. Multiple accounts for the same individual are not permitted.
4. Profile accuracy
The value of ProfiLynq depends entirely on the accuracy of your profile. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and current medical information
- Update your profile promptly when your medical situation changes
- Not include false, misleading, or satirical medical information
- Only include emergency contacts who have consented to be listed
ProfiLynq is not liable for harm arising from inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete profile information.
5. Purchases and refunds
Physical tags
Physical tags (helmet stickers, wallet cards, wristbands) are custom-printed and QR-linked at the time of production. Because they are personalised items tied to your profile, they cannot be restocked or reused for another customer. All sales of physical tags are final.
Refund exceptions
We will offer a full refund or replacement if:
- Your tag arrives damaged or defective
- Your tag does not arrive within 14 business days of the stated delivery window
- There is a manufacturing defect that causes the QR code to be unscannable
To request a refund or replacement, email support@profilynq.in within 30 days of your delivery date with photos of the issue.
Pricing
Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes. We reserve the right to change prices, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
6. Limitation of liability
ProfiLynq is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
- We are not liable for any failure of a first responder to scan your QR code, access your profile, or act on the information displayed.
- We are not liable for medical outcomes, regardless of whether a ProfiLynq profile was scanned.
- Our maximum liability to you for any claim under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for your ProfiLynq product in the 12 months preceding the claim.
7. Prohibited use
You may not use ProfiLynq to:
- Create profiles with false or malicious medical information
- Impersonate another person
- Attempt to access other users' profiles or data without authorisation
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically download profile data
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy the ProfiLynq platform
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable Indian law
8. Termination
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice. On termination, your QR code will be deactivated and your profile will no longer be accessible to scanners.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
